I lost my wonderful Momma to leukemia when I was 22, but a few years later my Dad met a wonderful woman that I am very fortunate to call my step mom. Her name is Charlotte and she is fantastic! She always comes from a place of kindness and love. She takes wonderful care of my Dad and expects nothing in return. Her latest gift to my family was moving away from her home, in Missouri where she has lived her whole life, and her kids and grandkids so my Dad could once again be close to his. I truly believe my Mom played a part in my Dad meeting such a special lady!

My mom is special because she has been through more than anyone I know and everyday she pushes through. She’s had her battles she’s had to fight through but she always made it through. She has always supported and loves her children even if it meant giving up everything she ever owned for them (which has happened). She doesn’t have the ability to work so anything she owns she holds dearly. She is my rock and I love her so much.

My mother is the best because since she was 21 she gave up her career as a nurse to care for my young siblings and I since my father was working double time to support 3 young children. She is always there for me and everyone elese whole heartedly. Even in my darkest moments she never gives up on me and encourages me to keep going. She loves me unconditionally as I love her too.
